Our Policies
Payment: CASH OR CHECK ONLY
If your dog is in heat please do NOT bring her in for grooming. She will be sent home immediately for the well being of our staff and your pet
Vaccinations: All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. Grooming dogs must provide proof of up-to-date on rabies, distemper and Bordetella vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months must provide proof of at least the first series of puppy vaccines. Self-wash dogs do not need to provide proof for us to keep on file. If your dog is exhibiting signs of illness or injury, please do not bring them in - help us keep everyone else happy and healthy!
Illness: If your dog is exhibiting signs of illness (diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, lack of appetite, coughing, sneezing, etc.) you must keep them home until they are symptom-free. Many canine illnesses are airborne; even dogs who do not directly contact other dogs can spread an airborne illness to other dogs in the facility.
Fleas/Ticks: In order to keep our store flea-free, all dogs MUST be on a monthly flea and tick preventative (or flea collar) from April through November. Dogs who present with fleas will be given a flea bath at the owner's expense, or sent home and can return when the fleas have been resolved.
Aggressive/Dangerous/Stressed Pets: In the event that your animal is too stressed or becomes dangerous to handle, we will not continue services that day. Your dog's safety is our first priority! If we think your pet is a danger to other dogs, staff, or themselves (including extreme anxiety), it is in everyone's best interest to stop the grooming. Thank you for your understanding!
Matting: " HUMANITY BEFORE VANITY" Pets with severely matted coats require extra attention. We will not cause serious or undue stress to your pet by de-matting excessively matted coats . If we determine we cannot safely and humanely de-mat your pet, our only choice is to shave the mats off. This might mean spot-shaving matted areas (like belly, armpits, behind ears, chest, etc..) and blending it into the rest of the coat, or a full body shave down.
Cancellations: Because we book on an hourly basis and cancellations can leave an empty block in the schedule that could have otherwise been used by another customer, we ask that any cancellations or reschedules are made at least 48 business hours in advance or a fee will apply and be payable prior to scheduling another appointment. PLEASE CALL US if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time. Without calling or texting your appointment WILL BE rescheduled
All dogs MUST be leashed! Not all dogs are comfortable greeting strange dogs. All dogs must be on a leash, and retractable leashes must be locked at 6ft for less. Please do not allow your dog to approach another dog in the lobby. Children: Many dogs are not comfortable around children, please do not allow your child to approach or touch a dog they do not know
Pricing: Our menu prices are a general guideline for services; however, the actual pricing of your services may change based on breed, size, temperament and condition and length of your dog's coat. Hours of operation and prices are subject to change.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with the grooming services you receive. After every grooming service, our stylists will review the Furcut with you to make sure you are happy! If you notice anything that you don't like when you get home, please call us within 24 hours so that we can alter your pet's groom to your liking. Changes can be made within 24 hours only.
A $20.00 per hour fee will be added for late pickups.
Thank you so much for placing your trust in us!!
